Joseph Mallord William Turner– The burning of the houses of Parliament (detail)

“To burn with desire and keep quiet about it is the greatest punishment we can bring on ourselves …” ― Federico García Lorca, Blood Wedding and Yerma

i see you in the distance
but you are where my fingers cannot touch.

i try to reach you
but my words are never enough.

to keep you around
i play your silly games.
