Vincent van Gogh – Still life – French novels and rose

happiness depends upon
the shelf in which
my books lie–

it contain multitudes
those beautiful little books–

*

little shelf in my room
with stories i wouldn’t dare
leave behind–

in the most special one
Heathcliff hides in the wuthering heights
of my mellow mind–

You like Wuthering Heights? I much preferred Jane Eyre!

It’s my favorite romance since I’m 15, Eliza! (A long time ago, by the way, haha) I’ve never read Jane Eyre, though…

I strongly recommend Jane Eyre, it’s one of my favourites (but it doesn’t beat Pride and Prejudice 😛 ). The main character, Jane Eyre, is so admirable and the story is just so wicked! I found Wuthering Heights a bit hard to read, I didn’t like Cathy very much.

I’ve never read it but I watched some movies… I don’t know, never felt drown to Jane, haha. But it’s on my to read list for sure! Cathy is sooo messed up, really like her. And Heatchcliff is like a god, haha.

A good story is a great place to get lost. Good choice! Now I’m going to have this song in my head today…
