Egon Schiele – Die Umarmung (Die Liebenden)
"I seek the nerves under your skin."
– Patti Smith
we blew each other’s mind by giving and receiving pleasure,
nights full of a latent desire that we try to hide
we try, we try, we try,
we cannot hide.
so into it we dive, chests open and clothes off,
we set our bodies on fire, our minds entwined into lust,
we fly together up high like restless birds
we create a nest to lie.
we make the most of it
in a tiny window
of our sparse little time.
i hit your spot,
you hit mine
we’re fine.
Nice one. Love the first line, second stanza.
thank you, Nelle! π
We do think the same way: I used the metaphor of diving for making love π
Really?
That’s so cool, Eliza! Looks like our “erotic” writings has a lot in common, haha
The chests open reminds me of a picture of a heart tattoo I used for one of my posts. http://anneschilde.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/heart.jpg
Wow, Anne – that tattoo. The person who had it done would be wearing it daily. Like, wow… It might express a day or two for me, but not a lifetime. Wow – a tattoo!
wow! what a tattoo!
‘I hit your spot, you hit mine, we’re fine’. That just so flows. Great stuff, Nanda. You flow every day! π
Thank you, N!
Always good to have you here! π
This is interesting. Thanks!
thanks!
Wish I’d written those last three lines π Impressive!
wow, that’s a really nice compliment coming from you. π
You’re welcome. I’ve read a couple of new poems this week with great endings so I am having to dig deep for tomorrows posting to try and achieve an ending that stands out π
Can’t wait for that! π
